- • As the Senior Manager, People Systems at Vanta, you will own the strategy, execution, and continuous evolution of the HR technology ecosystem, serving as a critical technical force multiplier at the intersection of systems architecture, process automation, and agentic AI.
- • You will own the configuration, optimization, and governance of Vanta's People tech stack (including HiBob, Ashby, Culture Amp, Lattice, Jira, Docebo, and Tangelo), design and maintain a coherent systems architecture, lead the evaluation and implementation of a modern HRIS solution, and drive automation using iPaaS tools like Workato or Boomi.
- • You will partner closely with the Head of People Operations & Strategy to build a modern, integrated tech stack that reduces friction, increases data integrity, and positions Vanta's People function as a model of operational excellence while scaling the function and building a People Systems team.
- • You will build and maintain People data infrastructure for accurate reporting, lead system implementations and migrations, manage vendor relationships, collaborate cross-functionally, and serve as the primary point of accountability for system security, compliance, and data privacy across all People platforms.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in HR technology with meaningful ownership of HRIS platforms and system integrations at companies with 500+ employees
- • Deep hands-on expertise with Workday and demonstrated ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize systems without heavy IT dependency
- • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing automation using iPaaS tools such as Workato, Boomi, or Zapier
- • Proven ability to evaluate, implement, and optimize case management or ticketing platforms in a People Ops context (e.g., Jira Service Management, Zendesk)
- • Data-first orientation: comfortable with data modeling, defining clean data structures, and ensuring cross-system consistency
- • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills. You can translate technical complexity into business language and vice versa
