  • • Senior Manager, Preferred (M4) is a senior frontline leadership role responsible for leading a team of Growth Specialists through the next evolution of Zillow Preferred’s partner support and growth model, translating AI-enabled service strategy into clear frontline execution, scalable operating mechanisms, strong coaching practices, and measurable partner outcomes.
  • • Day to day, the role involves operationalizing AI-powered partner support strategy by refining scalable AI-human-in-the-loop models, translating strategy into workflows and coaching practices, leading and developing a high-performing team, establishing operating cadences and escalation paths, driving partner success through data-informed action plans, partnering cross-functionally to influence product and operations, and acting as a business leader connecting support outcomes to broader Zillow goals like growth, retention, and marketplace health.
  • • The Zillow Preferred team partners with top real estate professionals to deliver outstanding experiences for home shoppers through strong partnership, operational excellence, and differentiated Zillow products, evolving toward a scalable support model combining self-service, proactive monitoring, AI-guided support, and human-in-the-loop intervention to help more partners succeed without sacrificing quality, trust, or growth.
  • • The person in this role will learn to define when AI should handle work versus when humans should step in, build scalable tech-enabled operating systems, develop leadership and coaching expertise in ambiguous environments, influence senior stakeholders on strategic priorities, and shape Zillow’s vision for a modern, AI-enabled organization while driving measurable partner outcomes and business impact.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of relevant leadership experience in customer success, partner operations, support strategy, account management, service operations, or a related field, including experience leading high-performing frontline teams

  • • Comfortable with and pragmatic about AI-enabled workflows, with the ability to help teams adopt new tools responsibly and apply human judgment where it matters
  • • Strong systems thinker who can design operating mechanisms, inspect performance, and use data to drive prioritization, accountability, and course correction
  • • Exceptional people leader who sets a high bar, develops talent intentionally, and creates clarity and momentum in ambiguous environments

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive base salary with range of $155,200.00 - $247,800.00 annually in select states (CA, CT, MD, MA, NJ, NY, WA, DC) and $147,400.00 - $235,400.00 annually in others (CO, HI, IL, ME, MN, NV, OH, RI, VT, VA)

  • • Opportunity to work at a FORTUNE 100 Best Company to Work For® in 2025 and PEOPLE Companies That Care® 2025 honoree
  • • Chance to shape Zillow’s vision for a modern, AI-enabled organization and represent the model in leadership forums
  • • Access to an innovative, inclusive, and engaging culture where employees are empowered to grow and drive industry innovation
