📋 Description

• Join Camunda as a Senior Manager, Presales and lead a team of Sales Engineers and Solution Architects dedicated to delivering technical depth and business relevance across enterprise deals.
• You'll be hands-on in strategic deals while building the habits, skills, and standards in your team that makes it consistently effective.
• You and your team work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure every technical proof point connects back to a business outcome and that your SEs can engage the full range of stakeholders they'll encounter, from C-level, business leads, SMEs, developers and architects to IT managers and operations leaders.
• Lead and Develop the Presales Team: Manage and mentor a team of Sales Engineers, actively coaching them on deal execution, stakeholder engagement, and connecting technical capabilities to customer value.
• Be an Active Deal Partner: Stay hands-on in key deals, supporting your team in navigating complex enterprise conversations and ensuring strong technical win rates.
• Drive Consistency and Quality: Identify gaps in how the team operates and implement standards that improve the reliability and effectiveness of the SE motion.
• Develop Presales Collateral: Update existing and create new presales materials and service offerings in response to sales and prospect demand.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Sales managers, Customer Success, and Product to support deal execution and feed insights back into how we position and improve our offering.
• Ability and/or willingness to use our product.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales role and leadership, delivering high performance and demonstrating a strong track record of influencing and guiding team members.
• Strong understanding of Camunda's products and services, or similar (agentic) Process Orchestration, BPM, or Workflow solutions.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner to a diverse audience, including those without a technical background.
• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of aligning team efforts with organizational goals. Skilled in value engineering and value selling, effectively communicating and delivering the value of technical solutions to prospective customers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with fluency in spoken and written English (C1/C2 proficiency).
