📋 Description

• As Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting at Chainalysis, you will lead the revenue recognition function within a fast-growing blockchain analytics company, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and driving process excellence across the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
• You will guide, manage, and mentor a revenue accounting team while reviewing and approving customer contracts for proper revenue recognition, collaborating with sales, legal, deal desk, and finance to structure complex deals, and leading the monthly financial close with accurate transaction recording and reconciliation.
• You will serve as the Finance organization’s subject matter expert on revenue recognition, drive process improvements and system implementations (including NetSuite, Floqast, Salesforce, and Tesorio), lead special projects such as new accounting standard implementations and go-to-market strategies, and liaise with external auditors during audit cycles.
• You will have the opportunity to scale the revenue accounting function in alignment with business growth, influence cross-functional initiatives, and gain deep expertise in blockchain industry financial operations while contributing to a mission-driven, innovative organization committed to transparency and compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP principles and financial statements, including ASC 606
• Ability to review complex contracts and interpret their impact on revenue recognition
• Leadership skills and experience in directing and managing a team
• Experience building and improving processes within Quote to Cash
• Polished communication and collaboration skills, strong ability to listen and influence
• Flexible to meet changing priorities and ability to prioritize workload to achieve results
