- • Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing role at OpenAI Finance, responsible for leading global transfer pricing strategy and ensuring tax compliance while supporting business growth.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing transfer pricing policies, preparing documentation across jurisdictions, drafting intercompany agreements, managing audits and APAs, building economic models, coordinating with external advisors, and driving process automation.
- • The Tax team at OpenAI ensures compliance with tax laws and optimizes the company’s tax position, working closely with Legal, Finance, Corporate Development, and business teams to align tax strategies with operational and compliance goals.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in international tax, lead cross-functional initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and contribute to OpenAI’s mission by enabling scalable, compliant global operations through strategic tax leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of transfer pricing experience with broad responsibilities across all aspects of the field
- • Degree in Economics, Finance, Tax, or related field; CPA, JD, or Master’s in Tax preferred
- • Deep expertise in OECD transfer pricing guidelines and international tax regulations
- • Strong quantitative and economic analysis skills
- • Experience managing transfer pricing compliance in multiple jurisdictions
- • Experience in designing and managing operational transfer pricing processes
- • Cross-functional project management skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and presentations
