đź“‹ Description
- • Own the beating heart of our life-saving AI platform. As Senior MLOps Engineer you will architect, build, and run the cloud-native infrastructure that turns raw video streams from dangerous workplaces into real-time risk predictions that prevent injuries before they happen.
- • Design and operate a petabyte-scale, event-driven MLOps stack on AWS that ingests millions of safety observations daily, retrains computer-vision and LLM models continuously, and serves low-latency predictions to underwriters and safety managers around the globe.
- • Build resilient, cost-efficient data pipelines using S3, Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, and Batch that transform high-resolution video into embeddings, store them in vector databases (Qdrant, ChromaDB), and keep them fresh as new footage arrives every minute.
- • Establish bullet-proof CI/CD for model lifecycle management: automated testing, semantic versioning, multi-branch releases, and one-click rollbacks so every improvement reaches production safely and fast.
- • Implement enterprise-grade security with least-privilege IAM, encrypted secrets management, and network isolation so that sensitive workplace footage and proprietary models remain locked down at all times.
- • Collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with PhD computer-vision scientists and ex-Tesla autonomy engineers to productionize bleeding-edge prototypes—turning experimental LLMs and risk-ranking APIs into always-on services with sub-second latency.
- • Create comprehensive observability: CloudWatch dashboards, custom metrics, and drift-detection alerts that let us spot model degradation, cost spikes, or safety anomalies before clients ever notice.
- • Champion best practices across the org—mentoring junior engineers, writing runbooks, and evangelizing reproducible ML so the entire team ships faster and sleeps better.
- • Influence product direction by translating infrastructure constraints into clear technical trade-offs, ensuring our roadmap balances innovation, reliability, and the urgent mission to save lives.
- • Thrive in a remote-first, Series B culture where you can ship code in the morning and see it preventing injuries by the afternoon.
