- • As a Senior MultiCloud DevOps Platform Engineer at Xebia Poland, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our clients' cloud-native delivery capabilities. You will leverage your deep expertise in modern CI/CD practices and cloud-native technologies to design, implement, and operate sophisticated delivery pipelines and platform infrastructure across multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- • A cornerstone of this role is the ownership and operation of the Harness platform. This involves architecting and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines tailored for various deployment targets such as Kubernetes, ECS, serverless functions, and virtual machines. You will implement advanced deployment strategies like canary releases and blue-green deployments, ensuring seamless transitions and incorporating automated rollback mechanisms to guarantee stability.
- • You will also be responsible for operating and optimizing CI pipelines and shared build infrastructure. This includes enhancing build performance to accelerate developer feedback loops, thereby increasing overall team efficiency and productivity. Your efforts will directly contribute to faster iteration cycles and a more agile development process.
- • A key aspect of the Harness platform operation is the configuration and management of Feature Flags. This capability will empower engineering teams to adopt progressive delivery strategies, enabling controlled rollouts of new features and facilitating A/B testing and experimentation to drive data-informed product decisions.
- • Where applicable, you will integrate Harness SRM (Software Resilience Management) capabilities, including Chaos Engineering, to bolster deployment verification, conduct resilience testing, and establish error budget policies. This proactive approach ensures the robustness and reliability of deployed applications under various conditions.
- • Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with FinOps teams to integrate and leverage Harness Cost Management dashboards, budgets, and guardrails. Your focus will be on optimizing cloud spend, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising performance or scalability.
- • Beyond Harness, you will engineer comprehensive delivery pipelines, environments, and infrastructure. This involves creating reusable pipeline templates, implementing robust governance controls, and establishing 'paved roads' – standardized, opinionated paths – that guide application teams towards best practices and efficient delivery.
- • You will implement and manage critical aspects of the software delivery lifecycle, including secrets management, artifact versioning, and sophisticated environment promotion flows, ensuring a smooth and secure progression from development through testing to staging and production environments.
- • Standardization of infrastructure provisioning is a key responsibility. You will utilize and promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, CloudFormation, and ARM Bicep to ensure consistency, repeatability, and auditability across all environments.
- • You will champion Git-based workflows, supporting platforms like GitHub, GitLab, Azure Repos, and Bitbucket. Where appropriate, you will apply GitOps principles using tools like Argo CD or Flux to further automate and streamline deployment processes.
- • Strengthening the reliability, security, and compliance of our platforms is paramount. You will embed automated tests, security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, dependency image scanning, SBOM generation), and quality gates directly into CI/CD pipelines to catch issues early in the development lifecycle.
- • You will enforce robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), implement the principle of least privilege, manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and SCIM provisioning, and ensure platforms are audit-ready to meet stringent compliance requirements.
- • You will actively contribute to incident response efforts, conduct thorough post-incident reviews, and drive the continuous evolution of Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to proactively manage and improve system reliability.
- • Building and integrating advanced Observability and Performance Tooling is crucial. You will integrate leading observability systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and New Relic into deployment verification processes and runtime dashboards, providing deep insights into system behavior.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to optimizing application reliability, enhancing build performance, architecting efficient caching strategies, designing robust storage solutions, and fine-tuning runtime platform performance to ensure optimal user experience and system efficiency.
- • Finally, you will drive collaboration and enablement across product and engineering teams. This includes onboarding teams onto the Harness platform, conducting comprehensive enablement workshops, producing clear and concise documentation, and maintaining self-service resources. You will also be responsible for measuring and reporting key delivery metrics – such as lead time, deployment frequency, change fail rate, and Mean Time To Recovery (MTTR) – and using these insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

- • Proven experience as a Senior DevOps or Platform Engineer with a strong focus on CI/CD and cloud-native delivery.
- • Hands-on expertise in operating and managing the Harness platform (CI/CD, Feature Flags, SRM, Cost Management).
- • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, CloudFormation, or ARM Bicep.
- • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
