• • As a Senior Network Engineer at Rocket Software, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, global IT organization dedicated to delivering world-class service to our software development labs and internal departments. • • This role involves the meticulous implementation of equipment installation plans, adhering strictly to defined specifications. You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and health of every component within our network infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• • A key aspect of your role will be the continuous monitoring and maintenance of Rocket Software’s corporate network and voice components. This includes rigorously assessing the functionality of network routers, switches, and all related equipment, ensuring that all network and voice infrastructure adheres to both corporate standards and industry best practices.
• • As a recognized technical leader in networking infrastructure, you will collaborate closely with development labs to architect and design complex infrastructure solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering these projects on time and within budget, contributing significantly to the company's technological advancement.
• • You will be tasked with identifying, analyzing, and resolving system issues. This includes reporting on any deficiencies found in configurations, processes, or documentation, and subsequently developing and recommending effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• • A significant part of your contribution will involve collaborating with senior members of the team. • • You will manage network-related incident and trouble tickets, and participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical network issues.
• • Maintaining up-to-date network and voice standard operating procedures, diagrams, and maintenance plans is crucial for knowledge management and operational consistency.
• • Collaborating effectively with third-party support and service vendors will ensure the continuous operational integrity of the network, leveraging external expertise when necessary.
• • You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex systems and services, from the client endpoint through the network connectivity and server/storage layers, requiring a holistic understanding of the IT ecosystem.
• • The role demands a strong ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly and independently, adapting to the ever-evolving landscape of network engineering.

• • Experience with TACACS and Cisco ISE is important for enhancing network security and access control.
