- • Senior Online Engineer at The Walt Disney Company’s Disney Digital Entertainment division, responsible for designing and maintaining high-performance, scalable software platforms that power Disney’s digital front door and interactive experiences.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining robust APIs and backend services for high-volume, real-time interactions; ensuring low latency, high availability, and seamless scalability under heavy load; collaborating with engineers, designers, and external partners; mentoring junior team members; and driving strategic problem-solving to improve technical systems and processes.
- • The team operates within Disney Digital Entertainment, guided by core values of Integrity, Inclusion, Creativity, Collaboration, and Community, working to unify Disney’s magic into a cohesive digital universe.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in scalable systems architecture, gain leadership experience in guiding technical decisions, contribute to high-impact Disney experiences, and grow as a mentor and collaborator in a globally distributed, values-driven engineering team.

- • Proven track record of building and maintaining complex online systems at scale
- • Skilled in high-performance server development and API design with ability to guide architectural decisions
- • Adaptable to any programming language required; experience in Go is a plus
