  • • As a Senior People Operations Manager at Jerry Technologies Inc., you will serve as the operational backbone of the People function, ensuring that payroll, benefits, compliance, and global workforce operations run with precision and scalability in a high-growth, pre-IPO environment. Your leadership will directly impact employee trust, regulatory adherence, and the company’s ability to scale efficiently while maintaining a world-class employee experience.
  • • You will lead a distributed People Operations support team of two Philippines-based associates, setting clear priorities, establishing service level agreements (SLAs), and driving operational excellence through coaching, process standardization, and quality assurance. Your role will be pivotal in transforming reactive support into a proactive, scalable service function that enables HRBPs to focus on strategic talent initiatives.
  • • You will own end-to-end payroll processing for all employee populations, manage benefits strategy including open enrollment and vendor performance, oversee global employment through EOR partnerships (e.g., Deel, Remote), and ensure compliance with multi-state and federal regulations — all while partnering closely with Finance, Legal, and IT to streamline cross-functional handoffs.
  • • You will drive HRIS data integrity and lead automation initiatives using AI and workflow tools to reduce manual effort, improve self-service capabilities, and enhance reporting accuracy — positioning People Ops as a tech-enabled, forward-thinking function that supports rapid scaling.
  • • You will partner with the HRBP lead to ensure seamless employee lifecycle management, from onboarding to offboarding, including immigration coordination and work authorization support, creating a consistent, compliant, and employee-centric experience across all touchpoints.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of progressive People Operations experience with direct ownership of payroll, benefits, and compliance in a fast-growing startup that scaled from 150 to 350 employees.
  • • Proven experience managing a distributed or offshore operations team, including coaching, performance management, and workflow optimization for remote associates.
  • • Deep expertise in multi-state employment compliance, including payroll tax regulations, benefits administration (ACA, COBRA, 401(k)), and audit readiness for federal, state, and local requirements.
  • • Hands-on experience managing global workforce operations via EOR platforms (Deel, Remote, Rippling Global, Oyster, Papaya, etc.) and coordinating immigration support with external counsel.
  • • Strong HRIS proficiency and demonstrated ability to drive process automation, data integrity initiatives, and self-service tool adoption to reduce manual workload.
  • • Exceptional attention to detail, judgment, and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data, coupled with strong project management skills to deliver complex initiatives on deadline.
