📋 Description

• Own end-to-end delivery of enhancements across Workday HCM and the broader People Technology ecosystem, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions that support employee lifecycle processes
• Configure and maintain Workday HCM including business processes, security settings, notifications, and reporting to align with People Operations needs
• Design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems such as Adaptive, Ashby, ADP, Activpayroll, and Deel using EIB, RaaS, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in People, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and BizTech to translate business requirements into technical system solutions
• Identify and implement automation opportunities, including AI-assisted workflows, to reduce manual effort, improve data integrity, and enhance user experience across People systems
• Monitor the health of integrations, perform root cause analysis on failures, and ensure reliable data flows between People systems and payroll providers
• Support workforce planning and headcount data synchronization between Workday and Workday Adaptive Planning
• Evaluate emerging AI and automation tools (e.g., Workato, AI-powered bots) and recommend actionable use cases to improve efficiency within People Operations
• Maintain clear documentation and establish governance best practices for system change management, configuration updates, and ongoing support
• Lead testing efforts for new functionality and product releases, ensuring smooth deployments with minimal disruption to users
• Stay current on trends in HR technology, particularly around AI and intelligent automation, and proactively propose innovations that elevate the employee experience
• Bridge the gap between non-technical HR stakeholders and technical implementation teams by translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights
• Own outcomes end-to-end in a fast-paced environment, driving continuous improvement of the People technology stack with a focus on scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with IT and BizTech to ensure seamless interoperability across the People tech ecosystem, including Okta, NetSuite, Coupa, Jira, Slack, and Google Workspace
• Act as a subject matter expert for Workday configuration and integration architecture, guiding the team on optimal design patterns and system governance

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience working with Workday HCM in a techno-functional capacity
• Strong hands-on experience with Workday configuration (business processes, security, reporting, notifications)
• Proven experience building or supporting Workday integrations (EIB, RaaS, Core Connectors, Studio)
• Experience working cross-functionally to bridge functional stakeholders (People, Finance, Payroll, BizTech) and technical implementation teams
• Understanding of APIs, data flows, and integration patterns
• Familiarity with automation/iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato) and comfort working with AI-powered tools
