đź“‹ Description

  • • Almedia Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Performance Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on Google Ads to join our dynamic User Acquisition department. This is a pivotal role for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and possesses a deep technical understanding of the Google Ads platform. You will be entrusted with the complete ownership and strategic direction of our Google Ads ecosystem, managing substantial monthly budgets and architecting campaigns that drive millions of users to our flagship product, Freecash, and our diverse portfolio of partner projects. This position is ideal for a 'strategic doer' – someone who can envision and implement a sophisticated, long-term growth roadmap while remaining intimately involved in the day-to-day execution and optimization of campaigns.
  • • As the Senior Performance Marketing Specialist, you will be the primary architect of our success on Google, transforming complex performance data into high-impact, scalable campaigns. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving aggressive ROI and user acquisition targets across various Google ad formats, including Search, Display, Discovery, and Universal App Campaigns (UAC). You will be responsible for not just managing, but actively scaling these efforts on a global level, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle of Google Ads management. This includes meticulous hands-on optimization, delving into advanced bidding strategies, conducting in-depth keyword research to capture high-intent audiences, implementing sophisticated audience segmentation, and making structural refinements to account architecture for optimal performance. You will be expected to analyze deep-funnel performance data with exceptional rigor, identifying key growth levers and translating these insights into actionable strategies. A critical component of this role is maintaining a rigorous testing roadmap for creatives and landing pages, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to market dynamics.
  • • Beyond campaign execution, you will play a key role in process engineering. This involves building and implementing scalable marketing processes and robust reporting frameworks that facilitate rapid, data-informed decision-making. You will also foster cross-project transparency within the User Acquisition department, ensuring alignment and efficient resource allocation. Strong cross-functional collaboration will be essential. You will work closely with our Creative team to iterate on high-performing assets and with our Data and Product teams to guarantee attribution accuracy and ensure our performance marketing efforts are tightly aligned with broader business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • • This role demands a proactive approach and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. You will be empowered to take ownership, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions independently. Your ability to think systematically will be invaluable in building repeatable processes that enhance scalability and predictability. A genuine obsession with growth and a passion for hitting ambitious targets, coupled with a relentless pursuit of incremental improvements, will define your success. You will be at the forefront of building the future of marketing at Almedia, rewarding our community of over 60 million users for engaging with our advertisers' products and offering a novel user acquisition channel for leading global companies. This is an opportunity to accelerate your career in a company recognized as Europe's #3 fastest-growing company in 2025 (FT1000) and on a clear path to becoming Germany's next bootstrapped unicorn.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of experience managing large-scale Google Ads accounts with a proven track record of scaling budgets while maintaining target ROAS/CPA.
  • • In-depth knowledge of Google's bidding algorithms, tracking requirements (GTM/GA4), and mobile app tracking within the Google ecosystem.
  • • Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Excel for complex data analysis.
  • • Demonstrated ability to be a hands-on 'doer' with pride in technical setup and daily campaign performance.
  • • Strategic agility to adapt Google Ads expertise to various internal product needs and UA department goals.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Equity in Almedia for all Berlin-based employees.
  • • Opportunity to scale with a profitable, fast-growing startup.
  • • Central Berlin office with a modern, collaborative workspace.
  • • Transport subsidy, provided breakfasts and lunches, language learning support, and Urban Sports Club membership.
