📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end editing process for long-form B2B podcast episodes and short-form video cutdowns, ensuring premium audio and video quality with narrative cohesion
• Strategically extract key moments from raw interview footage to create attention-grabbing short-form content optimized for LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok
• Apply advanced video editing techniques including multi-camera sync, color grading, motion graphics integration, and precise timing for platform-specific engagement
• Apply advanced audio editing techniques including sound design, noise reduction, level balancing, and mixing using industry-standard tools
• Collaborate closely with producers, content strategists, and marketing teams to align editing decisions with campaign goals, platform algorithms, and audience expectations
• Stay current with platform-specific best practices for discoverability, watch time optimization, captioning accuracy, and thumbnail design across YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram
• Interpret performance metrics such as retention rate, scroll depth, and viewer drop-off to refine editing strategies and improve future content performance
• Maintain and optimize post-production workflows using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Pro Tools, or equivalent professional editing software
• Deliver high-quality content consistently under tight deadlines while managing multiple simultaneous projects without compromising creative or technical standards
• Provide feedback and direction to other editors and freelance contributors to ensure visual and audio style consistency across all content assets
• Recommend and implement new editing tools, templates, or automated workflows to increase production speed and enhance creative output
• Ensure all final deliverables meet technical specifications for each platform, including resolution, aspect ratio, file format, and metadata requirements
• Translate complex B2B topics into visually and audibly compelling narratives that resonate with professional audiences
• Maintain organized project files, version control, and asset libraries to support scalable content production
• Adapt editing style to match brand voice and storytelling objectives while maximizing audience engagement across diverse digital platforms
• Work remotely with a global team and maintain availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours to support collaboration and deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in podcast and/or video editing, including both long-form and short-form B2B content
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) or equivalent professional editing tools
• Demonstrated experience editing content for YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram with clear KPIs around reach, engagement, or lead generation
• Strong understanding of content storytelling, pacing, sound design, and motion design in a B2B context
• Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, production, and technical teams in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Must be available to work primarily during U.S. Eastern Time business hours (EST)
