📋 Description

• As a Senior Portfolio Strategist at Sony Interactive Entertainment, you will lead the evaluation of PlayStation’s current and future game portfolio, guiding investment decisions across genres and business models to optimize risk versus return and ensure strategic growth.
• You will direct the portfolio allocation modeling team, spearhead deep analyses on market trends, consumer behavior, and technological shifts, and communicate data-driven insights to senior leadership across PlayStation Studios to inform capital allocation and long-term strategy.
• You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing critical perspective on portfolio performance versus future opportunities, including where to invest in new business models and creative multi-year aspirations.
• You will independently initiate and lead high-impact strategic projects, set direction for portfolio modeling efforts, and ensure the games portfolio meets investment goals while balancing diversification and risk.
• You will proactively advise studio and production executives on the portfolio fit and economic potential of their game development plans, aligning creative vision with financial and strategic objectives.
• You will work within a global, inclusive team at PlayStation, a leader in entertainment innovation, contributing to a culture that values diversity, curiosity, and passion for technology and play.
• You will develop expertise in gaming industry strategy, financial modeling, and portfolio optimization, gaining influence at the highest levels of decision-making in one of the world’s most influential entertainment companies.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in strategy, product, or management/strategy consulting, preferably within the gaming industry
• Profound understanding of the gaming industry and broader media and entertainment market dynamics
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging to diverse seniority levels
• Excellent financial modeling skills and in-depth experience with mathematical models and statistical techniques
• Exceptional ability to create high-quality work products, including PowerPoint decks and Excel models
• Strong sense of ownership and talent for proactively initiating and independently driving tasks to completion
