📋 Description

• As a Senior/Principal AI Backend Engineer at HostGator (part of Newfold Digital), you will develop backend solutions for AI-powered applications, contributing to products like SuperGator and GatorClaw that empower entrepreneurs to build successful online businesses.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include building integrations with internal and external tools (e.g., Google Calendar, APIs), developing prototypes and MVPs for rapid validation, working on AI agents, automation, content generation, and continuously improving technical architecture and system scalability.
• You will join a dynamic, innovative team at HostGator, a global leader in online presence services, where you’ll collaborate on cutting-edge AI initiatives within a supportive, remote-first culture based in Brazil.
• This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in AI engineering, influence product direction, and grow as a technical leader while working on impactful, scalable SaaS solutions used by entrepreneurs worldwide.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid backend development experience with GoLang, PHP, TypeScript, or Python
• Hands-on experience with AI applications involving LLMs, agents, or automation
• Experience with RAG, token consumption, and AI workflow integrations
• Proficiency in APIs, external integrations, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with frameworks and SDKs such as Laravel, LangChain, OpenAI, or Anthropic
• Proactive, curious mindset with ability to thrive in fast-evolving product environments
