📋 Description

• Senior Principal Engineer role focused on leading technical design and execution of cloud-based initiatives, driving technology strategy, and mentoring engineering teams at Newfold Digital, a global web technology company serving millions through brands like Bluehost, HostGator, and Web.com.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include owning end-to-end tech initiatives from development to delivery and maintenance on AWS/Google/Oracle cloud, transforming monolithic architectures, defining best practices, conducting code reviews, and guiding individual contributors in distributed systems, caching, queuing, and database solutions.
• Newfold Digital is a leading web technology company with a portfolio of industry-recognized brands, emphasizing innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence across its global customer base.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong backend expertise in Java, with openness to other backend technologies
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle)
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scaling, data structures, algorithms, and database solutions (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience transforming monolithic architectures and implementing caching, queuing, replication patterns
• Proven ability to drive tech initiatives, mentor engineers, and enforce engineering best practices
