• Are you a seasoned procurement professional with a passion for building and optimizing processes from the ground up? Revalize is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Procurement Specialist to establish and lead our companywide procurement function. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of how we source, negotiate, and manage our vendor relationships, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness across the organization.
• In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing end-to-end procurement processes, policies, and the necessary tools to support Revalize's overarching procurement strategy. You will have the autonomy to design a robust framework that aligns with our business objectives and fosters a culture of strategic sourcing and responsible purchasing.
• Your responsibilities will span the entire procurement lifecycle, from initial sourcing and vendor identification to meticulous contract negotiations and the seamless execution of purchasing operations. You will be the go-to expert for all things procurement, ensuring that our practices are not only cost-effective but also fully compliant with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• We are looking for a candidate who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor. This means you should be comfortable designing high-level procurement strategies and frameworks, while also being prepared to dive into the details of daily purchasing activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of goods and services.
• You will play a critical role in identifying and vetting potential suppliers, conducting thorough market research, and evaluating vendor capabilities to ensure we partner with reliable and high-performing organizations. This includes developing robust vendor selection criteria and establishing strong, collaborative relationships with our key suppliers.
• A significant part of your role will involve negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements with vendors. Your expertise in contract negotiation will be crucial in mitigating risks, maximizing value, and ensuring that Revalize secures the best possible outcomes from its supplier agreements.
• You will be responsible for managing the entire procure-to-pay process, from requisitioning and purchase order creation to invoice reconciliation and payment processing. This includes implementing and optimizing procurement systems and tools to streamline these operations and enhance visibility.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive procurement policies and procedures will be a core function. You will ensure that these guidelines are clear, concise, and effectively communicated across the organization, promoting best practices and adherence to compliance standards.
• You will also be tasked with monitoring and analyzing procurement spend, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and implementing strategies to achieve them. This involves regular reporting on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings, vendor performance, and contract compliance.
• Collaboration will be key. You will work closely with various internal departments, including Finance, Legal, and operational teams, to understand their procurement needs, provide expert guidance, and ensure alignment with company-wide goals.
• This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks within the supply chain and procurement processes. You will develop contingency plans and ensure business continuity by diversifying our supplier base where appropriate.
• Furthermore, you will stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact our procurement activities, ensuring Revalize remains agile and competitive.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement best practices, including strategic sourcing methodologies, category management, and supplier relationship management.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement processes, policies, and strategies within a corporate environment.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully managing vendor contracts and achieving favorable terms.
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management, and procure-to-pay systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
