- • Embark on a pivotal role as a Senior Product Analyst within JustPlay's dynamic Growth team, where your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the initial player experience on our innovative mobile gaming platform.
- • Your primary focus will be on the critical journey of onboarding new players, ensuring they encounter a seamless, engaging, and rewarding first interaction that cultivates loyalty and long-term retention.
- • You will be the analytical powerhouse, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and developers to transform raw data into compelling narratives and actionable insights that directly influence product strategy and development.
- • Dive deep into the intricacies of user behavior, meticulously investigating, mapping, quantifying, and visualizing the early experiences of our players to understand their motivations, pain points, and engagement drivers.
- • Conduct in-depth early churn analysis, identifying key drivers and patterns that lead to player attrition during the initial stages of their journey, and propose data-backed solutions to mitigate these issues.
- • Unearth hidden usage patterns and player motivations by performing deep dives into user behavior data, leveraging your analytical prowess to inform and shape the product roadmap with evidence-based recommendations.
- • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams, ensuring that product decisions are data-informed and aligned with business objectives.
- • Take ownership of the data collection strategy by developing and evolving robust tracking concepts, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and actionability of the data we gather to support informed decision-making.
- • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and build comprehensive reporting dashboards and visualizations using leading BI platforms, providing stakeholders with clear, accurate, and easily digestible insights into player behavior and product performance.
- • Lead the charge in experimentation by planning, defining, conducting, and rigorously evaluating A/B tests, driving a culture of continuous improvement and data-led product development.
- • Manage and optimize the experimentation roadmap, ensuring that our testing efforts are strategic, impactful, and aligned with growth objectives.
- • Champion data literacy across the organization, advocating for the widespread adoption of data-driven decision-making and empowering teams to leverage data effectively in their daily work.
- • Employ creative problem-solving techniques to devise optimal solutions for complex, unstructured challenges, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with data analysis.
- • Explore and implement Machine Learning algorithms for advanced analytical tasks such as sophisticated user segmentation, predictive modeling (regression), and classification, to gain deeper insights into player behavior and preferences.
- • Foster a collaborative relationship with our Data Engineering and Analytics teams to enhance our data products, ensuring quicker access to accurate and reliable data for faster insights and outcomes.
- • Partner with our Engineering teams to define and implement the necessary data collection mechanisms, ensuring we capture the most valuable data to drive optimal product performance and user experiences.
- • Contribute to the strategic vision of the Growth team, identifying new opportunities for data-driven growth and innovation.
- • Proactively identify and investigate anomalies or unexpected trends in user behavior, providing timely and insightful explanations and recommendations.
- • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends to contextualize our data and identify strategic advantages.
- • Mentor junior analysts, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a high-performing analytics function.
- • Continuously seek opportunities to improve analytical processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and impact.
- • Ensure that all analytical work is conducted with the highest standards of scientific rigor and statistical validity.
- • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- • Be a key contributor to the product development lifecycle, from ideation and hypothesis generation to post-launch analysis and iteration.
- • Drive a culture of curiosity and continuous learning within the team, encouraging exploration and experimentation.
- • Ultimately, your work will directly contribute to creating exceptional first experiences for millions of players, driving user acquisition, engagement, and long-term loyalty on the JustPlay platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytics role, with a strong preference for product analytics focused on consumer-facing products, including extensive experience with funnel analysis.
- • Proven proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and manipulation, and in Python, including experience with data analysis libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- • Demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and analyzing A/B tests, with a solid understanding of statistical significance, hypothesis testing, and experimentation best practices.
- • Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions like BigQuery or Snowflake, and familiarity with collaborative analysis environments such as Google Colab or Jupyter notebooks.
- • Experience in defining and implementing metrics, building clear and insightful visualizations using BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Metabase), and conducting complex correlational analyses (e.g., stickiness, churn, VIP analysis).
- • Familiarity with mobile analytics platforms (e.g., Adjust, Amplitude, Firebase) for measuring user acquisition and engagement is a significant advantage.
