- • Drive legal strategy for cloud-based solutions, ensuring consistency with legal requirements and core values.
- • Act as expert advisor for product management, development, engineering, support, and marketing teams.
- • Influence product design and deployment by advising on legal, ethical, and regulatory issues in emerging technologies.
- • Draft clear and concise agreements, terms of use, and public-facing disclosures.
- • Lead complex technology transactions by negotiating commercial and licensing agreements.
- • Design and conduct comprehensive legal analysis and monitor evolving regulations.
- • Provide pragmatic, strategic advice that takes into account legal risk, product adoption, and advancing business goals and initiatives.
- • Own Legal’s role in developing commercial strategy for new products.
- • Collaborate with technical leads to partner deeply with product teams.
- • Translate complex technical and legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance for business partners.

🎯 Requirements
- • J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar.
- • 8-12 years of experience at a national law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on product counseling and technology transactions.
- • Technical background or prior internal audit experience preferred.
- • Experience advising on AI applications, cloud services, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards.
- • Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and compliance frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001 a plus.
