- • Own the entire lifecycle of product design at Bitstack—from first user insight to pixel-perfect launch. You will sit shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers, compliance, and customer-care to turn complex financial concepts into experiences that feel effortless and even joyful for our 200,000+ users.
- • Lead discovery sprints, user interviews, and data deep-dives to uncover the real problems people face when saving, spending, and growing their money. Translate those insights into clear problem statements, opportunity maps, and measurable success metrics that the whole team rallies behind.
- • Craft end-to-end flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma (and whatever new AI-powered tool appears tomorrow). Sweat every detail—spacing, typography, micro-copy, loading states—because in finance, trust is built one pixel at a time.
- • Build and evolve our lightweight design system so that every new screen feels unmistakably Bitstack while shipping at startup speed. Document components, write usage guidelines, and teach engineers how to extend the system without breaking cohesion.
- • Champion a culture of rapid experimentation. Run weekly design critiques, usability tests, and A/B experiments that move the needle on activation, retention, and revenue. Celebrate failures as loudly as wins when they teach us something valuable.
- • Communicate design decisions with clarity and conviction—whether in Slack threads, Loom walkthroughs, or a 30-second hallway chat. Distill complex trade-offs between compliance, engineering effort, and user delight into narratives everyone can repeat.
- • Contribute to the broader product strategy. Help define what a “crypto-native bank” actually looks like in 2025 and beyond, from new asset classes to novel social features that make wealth-building feel communal rather than lonely.
- • Mentor future designers and set the bar for craft across the company. Your Figma files will become the reference standard; your feedback will sharpen every teammate’s eye for quality.
- • Ship real impact: features you design will move millions of euros, protect life savings, and give first-time investors the confidence to participate in an open financial system.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of designing high-quality consumer products at scale, demonstrated through a portfolio that showcases exceptional craft, taste, and end-to-end problem solving
- • Mastery of visual design, UI patterns, and interaction principles, plus advanced prototyping skills in Figma (bonus for AI-assisted or code-based prototyping)
- • Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently from discovery through shipping, balancing design excellence with speed, business goals, and technical constraints
- • Clear, concise communicator who can distill feedback, articulate design rationale, and rally cross-functional teams around a shared vision
- • Nice to have: experience in a high-performing, fast-paced startup; prior work on design systems; motion or brand design chops; ability to code (even with AI assistance)
