- • Senior Product Designer, Foundations role at Homebase Labs Inc. focused on shaping foundational user experiences such as authentication, billing, permissions, and compliance across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing to the design system, designing end-to-end platform experiences, collaborating with product managers and engineers, transforming utilitarian flows into delightful interactions, and ensuring mobile-native craftsmanship and cross-platform consistency.
- • The role sits within a bold, fast-moving design team that values empathy, urgency, and impact, working closely with a Principal Designer (Design Systems), UX Engineer, and multiple product managers to elevate critical user touchpoints.
- • The designer will grow their expertise in both systematic design thinking and end-to-end product ownership, with mentorship from senior leadership, while contributing to a scalable design system and high-impact platform experiences that build user trust and reflect brand excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4–7 years of experience designing digital products with strong visual and interaction design skills and growing systems thinking.
- • Proven experience contributing to design systems, including building components, using tokens, writing documentation, or collaborating with systems teams.
- • Strong native mobile design experience with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality work on iOS and/or Android, including understanding of platform conventions and intentional interaction design.
- • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, prototype interactions in Figma, review implementations, and bridge design and engineering.
- • Exceptional craft in typography, spacing, hierarchy, and interaction design, with a portfolio reflecting high polish and attention to detail.
- • Comfort with context-switching between system work, product design, and UI refinement while maintaining quality across all areas.
- • Clear communication skills, including articulating design rationale, giving and receiving feedback, and documenting decisions.
- • Cross-platform design proficiency across iOS, Android, and web, with ability to honor platform conventions and unify for brand consistency.
- • Fluency with AI tools in design workflows for exploration, iteration, and production, with curiosity and judgment to maintain quality.
