We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer to take ownership and drive the successful delivery of features across Fanvue's core product surfaces.
• In this capacity, you will operate across the entire technology stack, encompassing frontend, backend, and data engineering. You will collaborate closely with our Product and Design teams, transforming innovative ideas into shipped, measurable outcomes. This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives on building user-facing products, assumes responsibility for systems in production, and adeptly balances the imperative of speed with an unwavering commitment to quality.
• Your responsibilities will include the full lifecycle of feature development: designing, building, and shipping end-to-end product features from initial concept through to production deployment. You will be instrumental in owning key user journeys and critical services, ensuring their utmost reliability, optimal performance, and seamless scalability. A significant aspect of your role will involve close partnership with Product and Design teams to effectively scope projects, prioritize development efforts, and ensure timely delivery of high-impact features.
• You will leverage data and experimentation as core components of your decision-making process, using insights to inform development and iterate on features for continuous improvement. Writing high-quality, well-tested code across both frontend and backend systems will be a daily practice. Furthermore, you will contribute to the enhancement of our APIs, the refinement of data models, and the development of internal tooling that underpins and supports our product features. Proactive monitoring of production systems, adept debugging of issues, and driving effective root-cause fixes will be essential.
• Beyond feature development, you will play a crucial role in shaping our engineering culture by contributing to the establishment and maintenance of engineering standards, comprehensive documentation, and rigorous code reviews. • We are looking for an engineer who possesses strong, hands-on experience as a product-focused software engineer. You should be comfortable and proficient working across both frontend and backend systems, demonstrating a full-stack capability. Familiarity with modern web stacks, including but not limited to TypeScript, Node.js, React, and relational databases, is highly valued. A strong product-mindset, coupled with a keen sense of user experience and an understanding of business impact, is crucial for success in this role.
