- • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and Django to handle large-scale data ingestion and processing for Scribe’s Workflow AI platform.
- • Develop and optimize frontend interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript to deliver seamless user experiences for millions of users across 600,000 businesses.
- • Implement and manage distributed systems architecture using PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, and AmazonMQ to support high-throughput workflow automation.
- • Collaborate with AI teams to integrate custom machine learning models into production workflows, ensuring reliable data flow and model inference.
- • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices including version control, code reviews, and automated testing.
- • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform on AWS to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient systems.
- • Participate in end-to-end product development cycles, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and post-launch optimization.
- • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate user feedback and product requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
- • Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and observability through monitoring, logging, and proactive incident response.
- • Contribute to architectural decisions that enable Scribe to scale from 5 million to tens of millions of users while maintaining low latency and high availability.
- • Leverage AI tools in daily development workflows to enhance productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and improve code quality.
- • Embrace a culture of rapid learning, clear communication, and empathetic collaboration to drive team success and user impact.
- • Advocate for user-centered design by engaging directly with Scribe users to understand pain points and inform product improvements.
- • Maintain and evolve the company’s tech stack by evaluating new tools and frameworks that align with performance, scalability, and maintainability goals.
- • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation, pair programming, and technical reviews.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of engineering experience
- • Comfort working with Python (especially Django) and relational databases
- • Comfort working with React (NextJS / Typescript)
- • Experience leveraging AI in everyday work
- • Proven ability to implement engineering best practices
