📋 Description

• As a Senior Product Engineer at Jupus, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of Marie, our AI-powered phone assistant platform, by building intuitive, scalable features that empower law firms across Europe to configure, manage, and deploy AI voice systems with ease—directly contributing to the company’s mission of transforming legal workflows through intelligent automation.
• You will operate as a full-stack product engineer, translating product vision into tangible features by rapidly prototyping, validating, and shipping end-to-end functionality—from user-facing dashboards and self-service configuration tools to backend integrations with AI and ASR systems—ensuring seamless, reliable, and performant experiences for customers.
• You will work within a fast-moving, innovative legal tech environment where ownership, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration are paramount, partnering closely with Product and AI Engineering leads to iterate quickly, test assumptions, and deliver high-impact features that drive user adoption and satisfaction.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and refining product features for Marie’s user-facing dashboard and workflows using Python/Django on the backend and Vue.js on the frontend, developing self-service capabilities that allow customers to independently manage their AI phone assistants, implementing new features that integrate AI and automatic speech recognition (ASR) technologies in collaboration with AI Engineers, turning product ideas into proof-of-concepts and production-ready features through iterative development, maintaining rigorous testing standards across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels to ensure system reliability, optimizing infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability in cloud environments (preferably AWS), and collaborating closely with product and engineering leadership to align technical execution with strategic product goals.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building full-stack applications in production, with proven ability to deliver features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
• Strong backend expertise with Python and Django, including experience designing and maintaining scalable APIs and data models
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, including provisioning, monitoring, and optimizing services for reliability and cost
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, including schema design, querying, and performance tuning
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or similar, with ability to build responsive, interactive user interfaces
• Strong understanding of testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and commitment to maintaining high code quality
• Experience owning product features or systems end-to-end, from concept and prototyping through deployment and iteration
• Strong product intuition and ability to translate user needs and business goals into shipped features
• Comfortable building prototypes and iterating quickly based on feedback and data
• Familiarity with AI-powered products, assistants, or automation tools, particularly in the context of voice or conversational interfaces
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, early-stage environments with ambiguity, rapid change, and high ownership expectations
• Must be located in the CET -2/+2 time zone to ensure overlap with team collaboration hours
