📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end development and evolution of a cross-platform ecosystem spanning mobile, web, BFF, and infrastructure layers using an AI-first, agentic development approach.
• Design and scale foundational systems for health and fitness applications using React Native and modern TypeScript-based web technologies to enable rapid product experimentation without redundant reimplementation.
• Collaborate directly with product, design, marketing, and data teams to translate business bets into running experiments, not just backlog tickets, ensuring technical solutions drive measurable outcomes.
• Develop and continuously improve AI-agentic workflows across the entire software development lifecycle to enhance team productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
• Build and maintain shared platform capabilities including internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted workflows that accelerate engineering velocity and product quality across all teams.
• Implement and optimize native mobile integrations for advanced media experiences, including video playback, streaming, and HLS-based solutions on both iOS (AVPlayer) and Android (ExoPlayer), with support for Chromecast and AirPlay.
• Architect modular, reusable systems such as backend-driven UI, white-label capabilities, and component libraries that allow one team’s work to compound across multiple products and brands.
• Ensure reliable, scalable integrations between frontend clients, BFF services, and platform infrastructure, taking ownership of the health and performance of critical system seams.
• Lead and participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and pairing sessions within a trunk-based development workflow, promoting maintainability, testability, and fast iteration.
• Champion engineering culture through documentation, continuous improvement, and leading by example in how work is shipped—prioritizing outcomes over output, and learning over perfection.
• Use feature flags, kill switches, and A/B tests to ship thin, experimental versions of features quickly, validating hypotheses with real user data before full-scale rollout.
• Leverage AI tools as core productivity multipliers, integrating agentic workflows into daily development to compress the idea-to-learning loop for yourself and the broader engineering team.
• Maintain a strong bias to ship, preferring iterative delivery over exhaustive planning, and killing initiatives that fail to move key metrics rather than extending them.
• Work with global cross-functional teams across Cyprus, Ukraine, Poland, Spain, and the UK to align technical execution with global product goals and user needs.
• Contribute to the evolution of engineering standards, performance optimization practices, and reliability frameworks that support 25.5 million active users across Muscle Booster, Yoga-Go, and WalkFit.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with React Native and modern TypeScript-based application development
• Solid understanding of full-stack architecture including mobile, web, BFF, and cloud/infrastructure layers
• Experience building scalable cross-platform systems and shared application foundations
• Strong experience with native mobile integrations and media/video playback technologies
• Hands-on experience with HLS streaming and native video player integrations on iOS and Android (AVPlayer, ExoPlayer, Chromecast, AirPlay)
• Deep understanding of software architecture, modular systems, scalability, and performance optimization
