- • Own the end-to-end development and evolution of a cross-platform ecosystem spanning mobile, web, BFF, and infrastructure layers using an AI-first, agentic development approach.
- • Design and scale foundational systems for health and fitness applications using React Native and modern TypeScript-based web technologies to enable rapid product experimentation without rebuilding core components.
- • Collaborate directly with product, design, marketing, and data teams to translate business bets into running experiments, not just backlog tickets, ensuring technical solutions drive measurable outcomes.
- • Develop and continuously improve AI-agentic workflows across the entire software development lifecycle to enhance team productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
- • Build and maintain shared platform capabilities including internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted workflows that accelerate development and improve product quality across all engineering teams.
- • Implement and optimize native mobile integrations for advanced media experiences, including video playback, streaming, and HLS-based solutions with attention to user-perceived quality.
- • Architect modular, reusable systems such as backend-driven UI, white-label capabilities, and component libraries that allow one team’s work to compound for others.
- • Ensure reliable and scalable integrations between frontend clients, BFF services, and platform infrastructure, taking ownership of the health and performance of system seams.
- • Participate actively in architecture discussions, code reviews, and pairing sessions within a trunk-based development workflow, promoting maintainability, testability, and fast iteration.
- • Champion engineering culture through documentation, continuous improvement, and leading by example in how work is shipped and iterated upon.
- • Measure success by outcomes, not output — features are considered complete only when metrics move or a decision is made to kill them based on learning.
- • Go to the source: engage directly with stakeholders and users to understand real problems, rather than waiting for perfect specifications or PRDs.
- • Maintain a strong bias to ship: use prototypes, A/B tests, feature flags, and kill switches to validate ideas quickly, prioritizing speed of learning over perfection.
- • Treat AI as leverage: integrate agentic workflows into daily development to compress the loop between idea and learning, both for personal efficiency and team-wide adoption.
- • Contribute to the evolution of engineering practices including TDD, BDD, XP, and CI/CD mindset to support rapid iteration and high developer productivity.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong commercial experience with React Native and modern TypeScript-based application development
- • Solid understanding of full-stack architecture including mobile, web, BFF, and cloud/infrastructure layers
- • Experience building scalable cross-platform systems and shared application foundations
- • Deep understanding of software architecture, modular systems, scalability, and performance optimization
- • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling, and modern developer workflows
- • Comfortable working in AI-assisted or agentic development environments and adopting new AI-driven workflows quickly
