📋 Description

• As a Senior Product Manager at ButterflyMX, you will own the product roadmap for the core access platform, shaping the foundation that powers building access, operations, and security for over 20,000+ properties worldwide. This role is critical to enabling seamless experiences for residents, property managers, and channel partners while driving innovation in proptech through AI-native thinking and ecosystem expansion.
• Day to day, you will conduct deep discovery with residents, on-site staff, and channel partners; define and iterate on solutions with Design and Engineering; establish and track key platform metrics; expand partnerships with property management software, access control hardware, and smart home platforms; and prototype AI-driven capabilities that improve access decisions and reduce operational load.

The team is passionate, intelligent, and ai-forward, working to automate property access and security from a single platform for developers, owners, property managers, and tenants.
• In this role, you will learn to build and scale complex platform products in the proptech space, deepen your expertise in B2B2C dynamics and partnership ecosystems, and gain hands-on experience applying AI to infrastructure-adjacent use cases. You will have the opportunity to shape a product used by millions daily and grow as a systems-thinking product leader in a high-impact, innovative environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in product management with a track record of owning products from concept to market, including experience with platforms, APIs, or integration-heavy products
• Platform instincts: you think in primitives, you design for extensibility, and you understand the tradeoffs between flexibility and opinionation
• Partnership fluency: you have built or expanded ecosystems where third parties depend on you, and you understand the product, commercial, and technical tradeoffs that come with that
• B2B2C fluency: you have experience building products where the end user and the buyer are different people, and you know how to serve both without compromising either
• AI-native thinking: you approach product problems by asking how intelligent systems can improve the experience, not by adding AI as an afterthought.
• Sharp communication: you can influence across engineering, design, go-to-market, and leadership. You write well, present clearly, and earn trust without authority
