  • • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for PayByPhone’s next generation of mobile-first parking and mobility solutions, translating market insights into a bold 3-year vision and quarterly roadmap that directly fuels double-digit revenue growth and expands market share across North America.
  • • Rapidly identify, size, and prioritize high-impact opportunities through rigorous market analysis, competitive benchmarking, customer interviews, and data mining of 20M+ transaction records, turning raw signals into a prioritized backlog worth >$10 M ARR potential.
  • • Build and defend data-driven business cases that clearly articulate revenue upside, ROI, risk, and go-to-market requirements; present these to C-suite stakeholders and secure multi-million-dollar investment for new products and major feature expansions.
  • • Lead cross-functional squads of engineers, designers, data scientists, marketers, and operations specialists in agile two-week sprints; define user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics that keep teams laser-focused on customer value and commercial outcomes.
  • • Drive 0-to-1 launches from concept to global rollout, orchestrating beta programs, phased releases, pricing experiments, and multi-channel marketing campaigns that achieve >30 % adoption within the first 6 months in each new city or campus.
  • • Own product-level P&L accountability—forecasting, tracking, and optimizing revenue, gross margin, and customer lifetime value; iterate pricing models, packaging, and promotional strategies to hit aggressive quarterly growth and profitability targets.
  • • Establish and monitor a concise suite of KPIs (conversion, retention, ARPU, NPS, churn) in Looker and Amplitude; run weekly growth reviews, A/B tests, and cohort analyses to uncover friction points and unlock new levers for revenue acceleration.
  • • Champion continuous product discovery through customer journey mapping, usability testing, and rapid prototyping; translate insights into roadmap adjustments that reduce support tickets by 25 % and increase app store ratings to 4.8+.
  • • Architect externally-consumable APIs and identity/security features that enable seamless integrations with municipal parking systems, automotive OEMs, and mobility wallets—opening new B2B revenue streams and reinforcing PayByPhone’s platform moat.
  • • Collaborate tightly with Commercial, Sales, and Finance to model market-specific unit economics, refine value propositions, and craft compelling sales collateral that shortens enterprise deal cycles and boosts average contract value.
  • • Partner with Customer Support and Marketing to close the feedback loop—synthesizing frontline insights into quarterly product enhancements that demonstrably improve customer satisfaction and reduce churn.
  • • Create crystal-clear product documentation, release notes, and training materials that empower Marketing, Sales, and Support teams to launch, sell, and support new capabilities with minimal friction.
  • • Mentor junior PMs and analysts, fostering a culture of experimentation, customer obsession, and commercial rigor that elevates the entire product organization.
  • • Represent PayByPhone at industry conferences, municipal RFPs, and partner workshops, evangelizing our vision and gathering strategic intelligence that keeps our roadmap two steps ahead of the market.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5–7 years of hands-on product management experience with at least 10 total years in the technology sector
  • • Demonstrated success launching, scaling, and monetizing new digital products—ideally mobile apps or API-driven platforms—from 0-to-1 and into multiple markets
  • • Strong commercial acumen: proven ability to build P&L models, craft business cases, and present financial impact to senior executives
  • • Deep expertise in growth experimentation (A/B testing, cohort analysis, conversion optimization) to drive engagement, retention, and revenue
  • • Solid technical fluency to partner effectively with engineering on externally-consumable APIs, identity management, and security best practices
  • • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills that influence and align stakeholders at every level of the organization
