- • Process and review semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll for a workforce of over 1,100 employees across the United States.
- • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll legislation and company policies during payroll cycles.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries, discrepancies, and concerns.
- • Administer end-to-end payroll operations using Dayforce (Ceridian) software, including data entry, validation, and reconciliation.
- • Perform accurate calculations for wages, taxes, deductions, benefits, and garnishments across multiple jurisdictions.
- • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues and ensure timely data alignment.
- • Maintain meticulous records of payroll transactions and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- • Stay current with evolving payroll regulations and tax law changes affecting U.S. employees.
- • Participate in onboarding, team events, semi-annual, and annual meetings requiring travel to the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office.
- • Work independently with high integrity, strong attention to detail, and exceptional time management skills.
- • Provide subject matter expertise on all payroll processes, procedures, and Dayforce system functionalities.
- • Support cross-functional initiatives by delivering accurate and timely payroll data to internal stakeholders.
- • Ensure all payroll activities are completed within strict deadlines without error or delay.
- • Contribute to the continuous development of payroll policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • Full cycle U.S. payroll experience
- • Proficiency with Dayforce (Ceridian) payroll system
- • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local payroll compliance regulations
- • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and time management
- • Willingness and ability to travel to Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office for required in-person events
- • Experience supporting a workforce of 1,000+ employees
