📋 Description

• Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities to shape the future of Certn’s products.
• Conduct customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis to identify problems worth solving and opportunities for growth in the background screening and trust verification space.
• Define and communicate product vision, priorities, and strategic direction to internal and external stakeholders across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.
• Lead product initiatives from concept through launch, partnering closely with Engineering and Design teams to deliver impactful software solutions.
• Own and maintain the product roadmap, balancing long-term strategic investments with iterative improvements and customer-driven enhancements.
• Translate customer and business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs that enable successful execution by cross-functional teams.
• Define, track, and evaluate product success metrics using data and customer insights to continuously improve outcomes and drive product performance.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership teams to ensure alignment, remove roadblocks, and drive execution.
• Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and industry partners to inform product decisions and roadmap priorities.
• Develop business cases and profitability analyses to support product investment decisions and maximize commercial impact.
• Serve as the key voice of the customer, using direct feedback, market trends, and behavioral data to shape product direction and prioritize features.
• Mentor and support team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing product culture rooted in ownership, urgency, and mutual accountability.
• Work closely with Certn’s team in Eastern Europe and be aligned with their working hours to ensure seamless cross-regional collaboration.
• Utilize AI tools ethically and intentionally to enhance decision-making, accelerate workflows, and improve product experiences, while maintaining human oversight in all critical processes.
• Apply deep understanding of product development processes, methodologies, and best practices to deliver scalable, user-centric software products in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills to evaluate product performance and guide strategic pivots.
• Communicate complex product concepts clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
• Balance strategic thinking with practical execution, ensuring that long-term vision is grounded in achievable, measurable milestones.
• Support go-to-market strategies and product positioning initiatives to ensure successful product adoption and revenue growth.
• Maintain familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms to manage workflows and track progress.

• Proven success developing, launching, and scaling software products in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Strong experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and product lifecycle management.
• Deep understanding of product development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver successful product outcomes.
• Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery activities.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
