- • Lead the European payment strategy and roadmap for Seccl, shaping a new product area from 0→1 with no existing structure or established team.
- • Collaborate closely with the Payment Senior Product Manager to define and execute the European payment functionality, ensuring alignment with broader platform goals.
- • Work directly with European clients to understand their needs, validate product solutions, and ensure delivery of real customer value.
- • Partner with UK-based product and engineering teams to adapt and extend existing capabilities for European markets, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
- • Break down complex regulatory and operational challenges into clear, actionable product plans for engineering and operations teams.
- • Prioritize and manage the sprint backlog, balancing stakeholder demands with customer value and regulatory constraints in a fast-paced fintech environment.
- • Use both quantitative and qualitative data to drive evidence-based product decisions, ensuring outcomes are measurable and impactful.
- • Identify and implement tooling to automate manual tasks within European payment operations, improving efficiency and reducing risk.
- • Support go-to-market strategy for the European business by aligning product development with client expectations and market timing.
- • Operate as part of a high-performing, autonomous squad with full ownership over product outcomes and direction.
- • Mentor junior product managers by sharing knowledge, modeling high standards, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- • Navigate trade-offs between speed, risk, and customer value in a highly regulated financial services environment.
- • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting messaging to ensure clarity and alignment across disciplines.
- • Drive cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, operations, and client success teams to solve scalability challenges in European trading operations.
- • Contribute to a culture of experimentation, transparency, and inclusion by challenging assumptions and encouraging diverse perspectives.

🎯 Requirements
- • Significant experience with payment systems, custody platforms, or APIs
- • Experience scaling products in regulated environments (e.g., fintech, banking, investments, insurance)
- • Proven ability to operate in 0→1 or highly ambiguous environments where structure does not yet exist
- • Strong bias for action and ability to move initiatives forward independently
- • Customer-obsessed mindset focused on improving workflows and outcomes
- • Experience working in cross-functional teams and navigating trade-offs with empathy and focus
🏖️ Benefits
- • Salary between £75,000 and £90,000, reviewed annually
- • 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, birthday off, and three days per year for dependant leave
