📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI-powered customer experience platform, from roadmap definition to global rollout, focusing on automating car ownership services through LLMs, agents, and internal APIs.
• Partner with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy in production AI systems handling >70% of inbound sales and service requests.
• Serve as the technical translator between engineering, product, and cross-functional teams, establishing AI best practices, platform standards, and operational workflows for scalable automation.
• Drive systematic improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous A/B testing, data analysis, and experimentation with real-time user feedback loops.
• Collaborate directly with OpenAI to evaluate, test, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities integrated into the ChatGPT App.
• Own the strategic evolution of Jerry.ai’s agentic AI platform, defining how human-in-the-loop systems and computer-use agents redefine an entire $2T industry rather than merely optimizing existing flows.
• Translate complex technical concepts about API design, system architecture, and LLM behavior into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
• Build and scale production-grade AI products that operate in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance, reliability, and user trust while maintaining high performance and low error rates.
• Identify and prioritize technical tradeoffs in model selection, inference costs, and latency requirements to optimize for both user experience and operational efficiency.
• Leverage SQL and data analytics to independently validate hypotheses, uncover patterns in customer interactions, and quantify the impact of AI improvements on key business metrics.
• Act as a systems thinker by mapping end-to-end user journeys and identifying friction points where AI agents can replace manual processes across insurance, financing, maintenance, and safety services.
• Champion an optimistic, solution-oriented culture focused on "how can we" problem-solving, with a bias for action and ownership of high-impact outcomes.
• Maintain deep curiosity and hands-on engagement with the latest LLM releases, reading model release notes and building custom workflows to stay ahead of technological advancements.
• Work in a fast-paced startup environment to turn strategic, complex AI ideas into scalable, production-ready products that serve over 5 million customers.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in management consulting or technical product management at a fast-paced startup
• Proven interest in and hands-on experience with modern LLM systems and deployment in regulated production environments
• Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs in AI systems and lead implementation of platform standards
• A track record of turning complex, strategic AI-driven ideas into scalable, production-grade products
• Comfort with SQL and data-driven decision-making to validate hypotheses and measure impact
• Strong systems thinking skills with experience in API design, architecture, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
