- • Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap definition to global rollout, focusing on automating car ownership processes using LLMs, agents, and internal APIs.
- • Partner with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy in production AI systems.
- • Serve as the primary technical translator between engineering and cross-functional teams, establishing AI best practices, platform standards, and clear communication channels for complex AI systems.
- • Drive measurable improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous A/B testing, experimentation, and data-led iteration.
- • Collaborate directly with OpenAI partners to evaluate, test, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities integrated into the ChatGPT App.
- • Own the strategic evolution of Jerry.ai’s AI-powered customer experience, moving beyond incremental optimizations to redefine how an entire $2T industry interacts with AI.
- • Define and implement systematic methods to improve automation of inbound sales and service requests, which already exceed 70% of total volume, while maintaining high reliability and compliance.
- • Translate technical concepts like API design and system architecture into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders across product, marketing, and operations.
- • Operate as a systems thinker with deep familiarity in modern LLM deployments, including fine-tuning, RAG, agent orchestration, and human-in-the-loop feedback loops.
- • Maintain a data-driven approach by using SQL to independently analyze product metrics, validate hypotheses, and uncover insights that inform product direction and AI model improvements.
- • Build and scale production-grade AI products from strategic ideas, ensuring scalability, reliability, and regulatory alignment in a high-stakes consumer environment.
- • Act as a builder who stays current with AI advancements—reading model release notes, prototyping custom workflows, and applying emerging capabilities to real customer problems.
- • Champion an optimistic, solutions-oriented mindset focused on “how can we” rather than “why we can’t,” consistently pushing boundaries on automation and customer experience.
- • Navigate complex technical tradeoffs in AI deployment, balancing performance, cost, safety, and user experience under tight production constraints.
- • Work within a regulated environment where accuracy, transparency, and reliability in AI responses directly impact customer trust and financial outcomes.
- • Collaborate with leaders in AI and engineering to pioneer new model capabilities within Jerry.ai’s super app ecosystem, which manages car insurance, financing, maintenance, and safety.
- • Influence product direction by aligning AI capabilities with user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility across a platform serving over 5 million customers.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in technical product management or management consulting at a fast-paced startup
- • Proven experience with modern LLM systems and deployment in regulated production environments
- • Proficiency in SQL and demonstrated ability to use data to validate hypotheses and drive product decisions
- • Track record of turning complex, strategic AI ideas into scalable, production-grade products
