- • Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for AI-driven accounts payable (AP) automation, focusing on invoice processing, approvals, exception handling, AP inbox management, invoice coding, and vendor collaboration at enterprise scale.
- • Reimagine AP workflows through an AI-first lens, leveraging AI agents to automate manual tasks while maintaining enterprise-grade controls, compliance, and security standards.
- • Serve as the primary advocate and voice for the AP user persona within Zip, ensuring product decisions align with the needs of finance, procurement, and accounts payable teams at large enterprises.
- • Synthesize customer feedback, market trends, and company strategy to define a compelling product vision and translate it into detailed product specifications and prioritized roadmaps.
- • Lead cross-functional execution of core AP features in close partnership with engineering, design, and operations teams, driving alignment, making tradeoffs, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- • Design and implement robust feature rollout and quality assurance processes to meet enterprise customer expectations for reliability, scalability, and usability.
- • Deeply understand complex enterprise procurement and AP processes, translating business requirements into technical product requirements without oversimplifying operational nuances.
- • Prioritize ruthlessly across competing stakeholder demands, balancing customer needs with strategic goals, even when decisions may disappoint individual users or teams.
- • Break down ambiguous, high-complexity problems into structured components, enabling clear product recommendations and actionable roadmaps for engineering and design.
- • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure product features solve real-world pain points and deliver a consumer-grade experience for business users while supporting backend complexity.
- • Maintain a bias for action in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment, thriving under ambiguity and driving progress without complete information.
- • Continuously evaluate and improve product quality through data-informed decisions, user testing, and feedback loops with enterprise customers including T-Mobile, OpenAI, AMD, Mars, and Dollar Tree.
- • Champion a culture of ownership, transparency, and innovation by modeling open communication and an underdog mindset across the product organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of Product Management experience, preferably at a SaaS or consumer technology company
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse technical and non-technical audiences
- • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without authority, and drive alignment across engineering, design, operations, and customer-facing teams
- • Bias to action, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
- • Extreme attention to detail and ability to quickly grasp complex business processes and industry knowledge
- • Ability to prioritize ruthlessly, even if it may disappoint customers or stakeholders
