📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution of Legora’s consumption-based pricing system, including both user-facing experiences and backend billing/metering infrastructure.
• Build and operate reliable systems that convert customer token usage into accurate, transparent, and trusted revenue streams, partnering closely with engineering teams.
• Define and execute product pricing decisions for newly released AI models, features, and functionality—determining what is included, bundled, add-on, or metered differently across use cases.
• Continuously evolve Legora’s monetization strategy to align business incentives with customer needs and their end clients’ outcomes in legal workflows.
• Collaborate with go-to-market, finance, and executive leadership to translate pricing strategy into scalable packaging, billing structures, and financial forecasting models.
• Design and run data-driven pricing experiments, measure their impact on adoption, retention, and revenue, and prioritize roadmap initiatives based on empirical results.
• Deeply understand how legal teams procure and consume legal AI software, translating those insights into pricing models that are clear, fair, and sustainable over time.
• Partner with finance to model pricing scenarios, assess margin impact, and ensure pricing aligns with company-wide financial goals and growth targets.
• Maintain a customer-centric lens while balancing commercial objectives, ensuring pricing does not create friction in adoption or erode trust in the platform.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, sales, and customer success to ensure pricing changes are communicated, implemented, and supported effectively.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify pricing leaks, usage anomalies, and opportunities for optimization in the monetization funnel.
• Serve as the primary product owner for all billing-related customer support issues, ensuring transparency and fairness in how usage is tracked and billed.
• Document pricing logic, rules, and edge cases to ensure consistency across internal teams and external customer communications.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in AI-native SaaS monetization and benchmark Legora’s approach against emerging standards in legal tech and enterprise software.

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced senior Product Manager with a proven track record building and owning pricing or monetization systems at high-growth B2B SaaS companies
• Hands-on experience with usage-based or consumption-based pricing, including billing, metering, and backend infrastructure
• Strong commercial and product judgment balancing customer value, business outcomes, and long-term incentive alignment
• Comfort working across the stack—from user-facing interfaces to backend systems—and collaborating tightly with engineering and finance
• Fluency with data analysis and experimentation to make defensible, evidence-based pricing decisions
• High standards, low ego, and bias toward ownership and measurable outcomes
