Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As Senior Product Manager for Care Platform at Back Market, you will lead the transformation of customer support from a centralized model to a decentralized ecosystem, enabling business and transversal units to autonomously manage aftersales experiences while ensuring consistency and quality across customer, agent, and seller interactions.
  • • You will own the Care Platform vision and roadmap, defining Northstar metrics and KPIs focused on customer satisfaction, and securing alignment from Engineering, Operations, and Design partners to drive strategic outcomes.
  • • Day to day, you will partner proactively with contributing teams to co-shape priorities, ensuring seamless aftersales experiences across all contexts, acting as a strategic partner rather than a gatekeeper.
  • • You will design and deliver platform enablers such as APIs, tools, and workflows that empower teams to independently handle Care operations at scale.
  • • You will drive AI adoption across aftersales by leading the integration of AI-powered capabilities like sentiment analysis, AI agents, and agent copilots, collaborating with AI teams to pilot and scale new technologies.
  • • You will serve as the Engineering Manager’s daily partner, adjusting priorities collaboratively, communicating risks clearly, and ensuring quality standards are met while anticipating cross-team dependencies.
  • • You will master discovery and delivery by leading user research with internal stakeholders including customer service agents, product teams, and operations, collaborating with Design, shipping iteratively, and measuring impact continuously.
  • • You will provide strategic insights and standardized tools to help teams improve aftersales capabilities through shared learnings, best practices, and reusable components.
  • • You will balance autonomy with consistency by designing the right level of abstraction—giving teams freedom to innovate while protecting quality and brand standards across all customer, agent, and seller experiences.
  • • You will rely on data to drive decisions, using analytics, metrics monitoring, and experimentation to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and course-correct quickly.
  • • You will join a mission-driven company committed to making tech reliable, affordable, and better than new, where every role contributes to reducing environmental impact through refurbished technology with 92% less carbon emissions than new.
  • • You will work within a global marketplace that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, operating as a certified B Corp (93.2 score) with embedded DEI principles in its DNA through Employee Resource Groups, mentorship programs, and accessibility policies.

🎯 Requirements

  • • At least 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of product management experience in an agile environment.
  • • Fluent in English (spoken and written) to collaborate effectively with multicultural teams.
  • • Data-driven mindset with comfort using analytics tools and metrics-driven decision making.
  • • Technically fluent: ability to discuss APIs, data models, and system architecture with engineers.
  • • Proven ability to navigate complex environments, managing multiple integrations, dependencies, and build vs. buy decisions.
  • • Strong stakeholder management skills: facilitating collaboration across teams as a strategic partner, not a gatekeeper.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Mission-driven work environment where your day-to-day contributions directly reduce environmental impact through refurbished tech with 92% lower carbon emissions than new.
  • • Hybrid work model: 2 remote days per week, 1 remote work week per quarter, plus 3 flex days for flexibility and work-life balance.
  • • Access to Employee Resource Groups, including mentorship programs, comprehensive accessibility policies, and cultural competency training to support growth and inclusion.
