📋 Description

• As a Senior Product Manager on Toast’s Configuration Platform team, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of a high-concurrency engine that powers live system updates across the entire Toast ecosystem, enabling safe and scalable management of critical business data like menus, pricing, taxes, and operational rules for restaurants and local businesses worldwide.
• You will own and evolve the product strategy for Toast’s configuration platform, focusing on designing systems for safe change management (validation, versioning, auditability, rollback), building capabilities for SMB, multi-unit, and enterprise use cases, integrating AI-assisted workflows, and enabling other engineering teams to independently develop and deploy configuration-driven features.
• You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to build and maintain a roadmap aligned with business OKRs and customer needs, drive feature development from ideation to launch through clear specifications and success measurement, and partner with customer-facing teams to gather insights and evangelize product value.
• You will lead a development team by providing clear direction, setting priorities, and fostering a culture of customer-centricity, innovation, and accountability, while advocating for AI tools to accelerate product discovery and execution—helping shape how Toast builds and what it builds for its customers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with platform or POS products
• Strong track record of delivering user-facing features in fast-paced environments
• Experience working on systems involving APIs, data models, or distributed architecture
• Analytical rigor—using data to make decisions and validate assumptions
• Empathy for restaurants and a passion for improving their day-to-day operations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without authority

🏖️ Benefits

• Competitive base salary ranging from $125,000 to $254,000 USD based on geographic pay zone (Zone A: $159K–$254K, Zone B: $138K–$221K, Zone C: $125K–$200K)
