- • Own the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of the UK Cards product, driving measurable improvements in customer experience, engagement, conversion, and business performance.
- • Identify and validate product opportunities using data, customer insights, and experimentation across acquisition, onboarding, retention, and servicing journeys.
- • Design and run controlled experiments to test hypotheses, prioritize initiatives, and validate MVPs before committing engineering resources.
- • Build operational leverage by automating manual workflows, improving internal tooling, and driving adoption of AI tools such as Claude and Cursor across the team.
- • Support the development and integration of AI-powered customer support and servicing solutions to enhance scalability and reduce operational friction.
- • Collaborate closely with engineering, data, finance, operations, capital markets, and customer servicing teams to translate ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable plans.
- • Champion cross-functional problem solving by identifying bottlenecks in processes and leading initiatives that balance customer outcomes with commercial and operational constraints.
- • Challenge existing assumptions and continuously seek simpler, faster, and more effective ways to operate, rejecting the status quo in favor of first-principles thinking.
- • Communicate clearly and persuasively across technical and non-technical stakeholders to align teams, secure buy-in, and drive execution.
- • Work with high autonomy in a fast-moving environment, making decisions that directly impact the success of one of the UK’s most successful fintech products.
- • Leverage real-time data and customer feedback to prioritize roadmaps, measure impact, and iteratively refine product features and servicing experiences.
- • Actively explore and apply emerging AI tooling to accelerate product development, reduce manual effort, and improve decision-making across the Cards team.
- • Operate across both strategic and execution contexts, balancing long-term vision with short-term wins in a highly dynamic fintech environment.
- • Own business-critical initiatives with significant autonomy, reporting directly to senior members of the Cards leadership team.
- • Translate complex financial product dynamics into user-centric product improvements that enhance accessibility, speed, and transparency for customers.
- • Contribute to scaling one of the UK’s fastest-growing fintech businesses by building systems and workflows that support growth without compromising quality or compliance.
- • Work in a culture that values execution over bureaucracy, innovation over tradition, and ownership over hierarchy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in product, strategy, consulting, analytics, or startup environments
- • Experience owning products or growth initiatives end-to-end
- • Strong interest in fintech, lending, and financial technology
- • Comfortable working across both strategic planning and hands-on execution
- • Demonstrated ability to use data confidently to drive decisions and prioritize initiatives
- • Comfortable working with and advocating for AI tooling (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to improve product development and operational workflows
