đź“‹ Description
- • RevenueCat is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our growing Product Marketing team. This role is pivotal in communicating the expanding capabilities and diverse use cases of RevenueCat, a leading monetization platform for mobile applications, across various platforms including mobile, web, Roku, Amazon, and Vision Pro.
- • You will be responsible for deeply understanding key product areas, identifying the underlying use cases and customer needs, and crafting comprehensive communication plans for both internal teams and external customers. This includes developing strategies to drive adoption, retention, and community engagement through insight-based lifecycle campaigns, executed in collaboration with our marketing operations team.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves translating product messaging and customer insights into compelling and high-converting web experiences. You will define the vision for our website's narrative and collaborate with an external web development agency to create engaging illustrations, animations, and tools.
- • You will play a crucial role in developing customer advocacy by organizing, facilitating, and transforming customer interviews into impactful case studies and testimonials that clearly demonstrate the value proposition of RevenueCat.
- • As a subject matter expert in your designated product areas, you will be tasked with creating and delivering internal enablement resources and training programs to empower our developer-facing teams, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to effectively support developers and contribute to their success.
- • Continuous market analysis is essential; you will maintain a keen awareness of the mobile app industry landscape and competitive activities to inform go-to-market strategies and identify emerging growth opportunities.
- • This role offers unique opportunities for creative expression through "whimsical side quests." These projects, undertaken with minimal instruction, can range from coordinating large-scale content collection for product launches, designing and distributing branded merchandise like calendars, to hosting unique community events or crafting keynote speeches for leadership. These initiatives are designed to stretch your creative muscles and contribute to RevenueCat's distinctive brand identity.
- • The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of APIs and SDKs, enabling effective communication with software developers, one of RevenueCat's core audiences. You can articulate complex technical concepts in a way that resonates with both technical and business stakeholders.
- • You will operate with a strong bias for action, demonstrating autonomy and a willingness to execute independently. Juggling strategic initiatives and tactical execution, navigating shifting priorities, and driving projects forward are key aspects of this role.
- • Collaboration is central to success. You will be adept at navigating a dynamic and technical organization, proactively seeking information and support from engineers for product updates and rallying the Sales team for customer stories, ensuring the Go-To-Market (GTM) organization has what it needs.
- • An enthusiasm for the unexpected is highly valued. RevenueCat is committed to rapid iteration and adaptation of its product and strategies. You will view changes in direction and strategy as opportunities to apply creative problem-solving and learn continuously.
- • A touch of quirkiness is encouraged, reflecting RevenueCat's unique approach to community engagement through distinctive swag, challenges, and events. You will have the chance to significantly contribute to brainstorming and bringing these creative concepts to life.
- • Responsibilities include owning GTM and adoption campaigns for key product areas, building lifecycle campaigns with marketing operations, designing and optimizing web pages with external agencies, creating case studies and testimonials, providing internal enablement, and gathering market insights.
- • You will also be empowered to take on "whimsical side quests," contributing to unique projects that showcase creativity and brand personality, such as coordinating large-scale content initiatives, designing branded materials, or organizing community events.
- • Success in this role involves gaining hands-on platform experience, understanding the app monetization ecosystem, building cross-functional relationships, and delivering impactful projects within the first month. Within three months, you'll own GTM efforts for product areas, create enablement materials, publish new landing pages, and conduct customer research. By six months, you'll optimize adoption funnels, enhance sales motions, and contribute to brand-building side quests. After a year, you'll be a strategic partner, lead successful product launches, represent RevenueCat at industry events, and deepen your expertise in app development and monetization.
