• • Join Sumo Logic’s award-winning Professional Services team as a Senior Security Consultant and become the trusted advisor who transforms how Fortune 1000 enterprises defend themselves. You will architect, deploy, and optimize our cloud-native SIEM and log-analytics platform, turning oceans of raw machine data into crystal-clear security intelligence.
• • Own the entire customer journey—from initial discovery workshops through production go-live and quarterly value reviews. You will map complex data sources (firewalls, EDR, SaaS, containers, OT/ICS) to scalable ingestion pipelines, design high-performance parsing and normalization rules, and tune correlation logic so threats surface in seconds, not hours.
• • Translate business risk into technical reality. You will interview CISOs, SOC managers, and DevSecOps leads to understand their pain points, then craft phased implementation roadmaps that balance quick wins with long-term strategic goals. Expect to present executive-level findings that quantify risk reduction and ROI.
• • Build and curate world-class security content. You will author custom parsers, create Sigma-compatible detection rules, and design KPI-driven dashboards that turn analysts into threat-hunting heroes. Your content will be promoted to the Sumo Logic App Catalog and reused by thousands of customers worldwide.
• • Enable and upskill customer teams. You will deliver tailored training sessions, run purple-team exercises, and certify SOC analysts on advanced query language (SPL-like) techniques. Your enablement plans ensure customers become self-sufficient power users within 90 days.
• • Champion continuous improvement. You will analyze telemetry to identify bottlenecks, propose platform enhancements, and partner with Product & Engineering to shape our roadmap. Your field insights directly influence new features such as SOAR integrations, UEBA models, and compliance packs.
• • Collaborate across a global ecosystem. You will work hand-in-hand with Sales Engineers during pre-sales, partner with Managed Detection & Response teams for co-managed deployments, and coordinate with Support and Customer Success Managers to guarantee seamless post-deployment health.
• • Lead with thought leadership. You will speak at industry conferences, publish technical blogs, and contribute to open-source security projects. Your expertise elevates the Sumo Logic brand and helps the broader community stay ahead of adversaries.
