  • • KBR Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Program Manager to lead critical enterprise-wide network modernization efforts for a Department of War (DoW) IT program. This pivotal role is responsible for the strategic planning, meticulous execution, and successful delivery of secure, resilient fiber and wireless network capabilities. These capabilities are essential for providing the on-range bandwidth required to manage and analyze vast quantities of test data, directly supporting mission analysis and informed decision-making.
  • • As the Senior Program Manager, you will be instrumental in leading and integrating cross-functional teams, ensuring the seamless delivery of advanced network solutions. Your leadership will enable interoperable, multi-domain Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) distributed testing environments. You will also facilitate seamless data transfer to cloud environments, ensuring that current and future requirements for throughput, redundancy, and lifecycle sustainability are met through the coordinated fielding of modernized network infrastructure.
  • • This position demands comprehensive management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and overall leadership for all contractor personnel assigned to the Task Order (TO). You will be responsible for assigning tasks, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing the overall performance of the TO, ensuring both technical excellence and efficient business processes.
  • • The Senior Program Manager will serve as the primary interface between government stakeholders, technical teams, and acquisition partners. Your role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of standardized, secure, interoperable, and scalable network capabilities across geographically distributed test centers and operational test locations. This requires a deep understanding of both technical requirements and stakeholder needs.
  • • Key responsibilities include providing overarching program leadership and management for the entire portfolio, rigorously ensuring that cost, schedule, performance, and risk objectives are consistently met. You will lead and oversee all planning, execution, and integration activities, acting as the main customer-facing lead.
  • • Your role involves coordinating closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government program offices, cybersecurity teams, and test center leadership. You will oversee the technical execution performed by engineering teams, ensuring strict alignment with enterprise architecture standards, stringent cybersecurity requirements, and critical operational test needs.
  • • You will manage dynamic cross-functional teams, which may include engineers, subcontractors, and essential support personnel spread across multiple sites. A significant aspect of this role involves leading and supporting Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition lifecycle activities. This includes active participation in Request for Information (RFI) processes, conducting thorough market research, engaging in Market Assessment Discussions (MAD), and providing critical input to acquisition strategies and planning documentation.
  • • Ensuring strict compliance with DoW, Army, and relevant policies is paramount. This encompasses adherence to cybersecurity protocols, configuration management best practices, network governance frameworks, and robust program controls. You will be tasked with identifying, assessing, and proactively managing program risks and dependencies, developing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard mission outcomes.
  • • You will oversee various initiatives, ensuring that all efforts are synchronized, executable, and operationally relevant to the program's objectives. Developing and maintaining comprehensive program documentation, including detailed schedules, integrated master plans, executive briefs, and status reports, is essential for supporting program objectives.
  • • Furthermore, you will actively support strategic planning efforts, contribute to roadmap development, and facilitate future capability insertion to ensure the program remains at the forefront of technological advancement.
  • • This position requires a commitment to OCONUS and CONUS long-distance travel, reflecting the geographically distributed nature of the program's operations.
  • • The Senior Program Manager will play a critical role in shaping the future of critical defense infrastructure, ensuring its security, reliability, and scalability for years to come.
