📋 Description

• • Architect, build, and own the next generation of SalesCloser.ai’s conversational-AI platform, writing clean, efficient, and highly-scalable Python code that powers thousands of real-time sales calls, demos, and follow-ups every day.
• • Design and implement robust backend systems and RESTful APIs that integrate seamlessly with telephony providers, CRMs, and third-party AI services, ensuring sub-second latency and 99.9 % uptime for our global customer base across Canada and the US.
• • Take full ownership of the development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and technical design through coding, automated testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring—while collaborating closely with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and Front-End peers in a fully-remote, agile environment.
• • Champion code quality by authoring comprehensive unit, integration, and load tests, participating in rigorous peer reviews, and enforcing best practices for security, performance, and maintainability across a microservices architecture built on Docker, Linux, and Git.
• • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, leveraging advanced debugging skills, distributed tracing, and log analytics to safeguard the user experience and maintain trust with enterprise clients who rely on SalesCloser.ai to drive revenue.
• • Continuously optimize existing services for speed and cost-efficiency, profiling Python applications, tuning PostgreSQL/MySQL queries, and scaling Redis and Elasticsearch clusters to handle exponential data growth.
• • Contribute to architectural decisions that will shape the future of a high-growth, publicly traded SaaS company—evaluating new technologies, proposing migration strategies, and balancing technical debt with feature velocity.
• • Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, NLP, and cloud infrastructure, experimenting with emerging tools and sharing knowledge through internal tech talks and documentation to elevate the entire engineering organization.
• • Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of curiosity, ownership, and client-first thinking, ensuring that every line of code advances both product excellence and business impact.
• • Work flexible hours aligned with PST or EST business windows, collaborating with a multicultural, distributed team that values transparency, rapid iteration, and measurable results.
