📋 Description

• As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at TrueLogic Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and accessible software solutions for U.S.-based clients across industries, directly contributing to digital transformation initiatives that impact real-world users.
• You will champion software quality by integrating testing early in the development lifecycle, advocating for clean code and robust testing practices, and serving as a trusted advisor to product, engineering, and design teams on quality strategy and risk mitigation.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing comprehensive hands-on testing of responsive web and mobile applications, designing and executing stable, deterministic automated tests, and leading regression and release testing efforts to provide final sign-off on software releases.
• You will collaborate closely with product teams during requirements gathering and planning phases to develop shift-left testing strategies, ensuring quality is embedded from the outset and reducing defects later in the cycle.
• You will maintain and customize automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Robot Framework, and integrate them seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions or Jenkins to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
• You will conduct API and load testing using Postman, JMeter, or BlazeMeter, and perform full-stack troubleshooting across HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and backend technologies like PHP or Java to identify and resolve issues across the technology stack.
• You will apply expertise in accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA+) and modern security standards to ensure inclusive and compliant user experiences, and leverage AI-driven testing tools to enhance test case generation and script development efficiency.
• You will mentor junior engineers, foster a culture of quality and collaboration, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes and engineering health across the team.
• You will provide clear, data-driven estimates of testing effort and deliver vocal progress updates to stakeholders, enabling informed business decisions around release readiness and risk.
• You will work within TrueLogic’s nearshore model, collaborating with a diverse, global team of over 600 tech professionals across Latin America, supporting U.S. companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises on high-impact, innovative projects.
• You will enjoy significant autonomy in managing your workflow and priorities, with a focus on outcomes over hours, allowing you to tailor your work style to maximize productivity and impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an autonomous, self-sufficient QA engineer capable of performing effectively under pressure
• Expert-level test design skills with a focus on creating stable, deterministic tests that eliminate flakiness
• Mastery of automation frameworks including setup, maintenance, and customization using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Robot Framework
• Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Proficiency in API and load testing using Postman, JMeter, or BlazeMeter
• Hands-on troubleshooting ability across full-stack technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PHP or Java
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA+) and modern security guidelines
• Experience with AI-driven testing tools for test case generation and script development
• Strong mentorship and communication skills to support team growth and advocate for quality
• Ability to lead requirements gathering, regression testing, and release planning to provide final sign-off
