📋 Description

• As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at TrueLogic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and accessible software solutions for leading U.S.-based clients, directly impacting user experience and business success through rigorous testing and quality advocacy.
• You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and product teams to shift testing left in the development lifecycle, embedding quality from requirements through release, and championing best practices that elevate engineering health and product reliability.

• In this role, you will lead end-to-end testing efforts for responsive web and mobile applications, designing and executing comprehensive test strategies that cover functional, regression, accessibility, security, API, and load testing scenarios.
• You will partner with product and engineering teams early in the lifecycle to define testable requirements, develop shift-left testing approaches, and ensure quality gates are established before development begins.
• You will lead release cycles by owning requirements validation, regression test planning, and final sign-off, ensuring that every release meets stringent quality benchmarks before deployment.
• You will advocate for clean code and process excellence by refining testing workflows, eliminating flaky tests, and promoting maintainable, deterministic automation frameworks across teams.
• You will provide data-driven insights by accurately estimating testing effort, tracking progress, and communicating risks and status clearly to stakeholders to support informed release decisions.
• You will mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of quality by sharing best practices, conducting knowledge sessions, and encouraging collaboration that strengthens team capability and ownership.
• You will maintain and enhance automation frameworks using industry-leading tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Robot Framework, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• You will perform API testing using Postman and conduct load and stress testing with JMeter or BlazeMeter to validate performance under real-world conditions.
• You will apply deep technical knowledge across the full stack—HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, and Java—to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure end-to-end system reliability.
• You will ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA+) and modern security guidelines, advocating for inclusive and resilient software design.
• You will leverage AI-powered testing tools to accelerate test case generation, improve script development efficiency, and enhance test coverage through intelligent automation.
• You will operate with full autonomy in a 100% remote environment, managing your time and priorities to deliver results while maintaining alignment with global teams across Latin America and the U.S.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an autonomous QA engineer with proven ability to work tactically under pressure and drive quality outcomes independently.
• Expert-level mastery of test automation frameworks, including setup, maintenance, and customization using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
• Strong proficiency in API testing (Postman) and performance/load testing (JMeter, BlazeMeter), with solid full-stack troubleshooting skills across HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, or Java.
• Demonstrated expertise in accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA+) and security testing principles, plus practical experience using AI-driven tools for test case generation and script development.
• Excellent mentorship and communication skills, with a vocal advocacy mindset for quality and the ability to influence cross-functional teams early in the development lifecycle.
• Proven success in CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and experience leading release cycles through requirements validation, regression testing, and final sign-off.
