- • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and drive manual and automation testing efforts for web applications and backend systems.
- • Review functional specifications and technical design documents, providing feedback and using AI-assisted analysis to identify edge cases or logic gaps early in the SDLC.
- • Design, develop, and execute automated test cases using Playwright and Locust, maintaining and extending automation frameworks with AI-driven code refactoring and optimization.
- • Leverage AI-powered IDEs such as Cursor and Augment to rapidly prototype, scaffold, and debug test suites, accelerating test authoring and maintenance.
- • Contribute to testing strategies for AI-powered features, including prompt regression testing, behavioral drift detection, and validation of LLM outputs and edge cases.
- • Develop automated test result reports and proactively highlight potential quality risks using AI tools for failure diagnosis and log interpretation.
- • Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution, utilizing AI tools to assist in root cause analysis and improve testing efficiency.
- • Partner with engineering teams to reduce manual testing efforts through automated solutions and AI-driven test generation.
- • Advocate for ethical and effective use of AI tools within QA workflows and across the broader engineering organization.
- • Implement evaluation frameworks for LLM-powered features, ensuring reliability, consistency, and compliance with quality standards.
- • Apply AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to generate test scenarios, improve test coverage, and optimize documentation workflows.
- • Work within Agile development teams, adhering to QA best practices for test planning, case authoring, execution, and reporting.
- • Conduct manual and automated API testing for REST and GraphQL endpoints using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or Locust.
- • Participate in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous testing, code coverage analysis, and integration of automated tests into delivery workflows.
- • Maintain familiarity with version control systems (Git), test management tools (TestRail), and issue-tracking platforms (Jira).
- • Apply working knowledge of relational databases and SQL to validate data integrity and backend behavior.
- • Support application deployments in cloud environments such as AWS and understand deployment pipelines and infrastructure contexts.
- • Communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to convey test results, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
- • Promote best practices in automation, AI-augmented QA, and software quality across the engineering team.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance with strong expertise in testing web applications
- • Skilled in designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks for web applications (preferably using Playwright)
- • Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python)
- • Experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., Cursor, Augment, Claude) to accelerate test authoring, debugging, and optimization
- • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing of REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development lifecycle concepts including code review, continuous testing, and delivery
