📋 Description

• Senior QA Automation Engineer at Toptal, LLC, responsible for leading quality assurance efforts through product knowledge, engineering domain expertise, and process audit to ensure high-quality standards across AI-powered platforms and internal tools.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and improving automated test suites using RSpec, Jest, Playwright, and Cypress; estimating, prioritizing, and coordinating testing activities; identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs; reviewing code via white box and black box testing; collaborating with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria; and mentoring team members while contributing to process improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance and test automation experience
• Proficiency with RSpec, Jest, and Cypress as core testing tools
• Hands-on experience with test automation in Ruby on Rails, React, and Node.js
• Experience with version control (Git), bug tracking (Jira), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and testing across frontend and backend systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate and unblock independently
• Critical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and ownership mindset in a team-oriented environment
