- • As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of Kraken's consumer-facing applications on both iOS and Android platforms. - • You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and mobile developers to establish and refine robust testing processes. This includes designing and implementing sophisticated mobile UI automation tests that are resilient to UI changes, highly reliable, and capable of delivering precise and actionable feedback to the development teams.
- • A key aspect of this role involves leading mobile test automation projects from their initial planning stages through to successful execution. You will ensure that these automation efforts are seamlessly integrated into our CI/CD pipeline, enabling rapid and continuous delivery of high-quality software.
- • Proactively identify, document, and report bugs, working in close partnership with development and product teams to ensure their timely and effective resolution before any release to our users. Your insights will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and performance of our applications.
- • You will act as a strong advocate for best practices in mobile test strategy. This includes championing comprehensive device coverage, implementing performance profiling techniques, and ensuring accessibility checks are a core part of our testing regimen.

- • Your responsibilities will extend to understanding and navigating the complexities of mobile app deployment. This includes a strong grasp of iOS and Android release processes, such as App Store Connect and Google Play Console, understanding platform review guidelines, managing release trains, and leveraging over-the-air (OTA) updates (e.g., Expo).
- • You will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, including bug tracking, detailed documentation, and performing thorough manual exploratory testing when necessary to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- • Testing across a diverse set of devices, screen sizes, and operating systems will be a core part of your daily work, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for all Kraken users, regardless of their hardware or software.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in a test automation language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Kotlin, coupled with experience using mobile automation libraries.
- • Hands-on experience with mobile testing frameworks and tools like Maestro, Appium, Detox, Espresso, or XCTest.
- • Proven experience building and maintaining UI automation test suites for mobile applications, with a solid understanding of platform-specific nuances (iOS and Android).
- • Experienced in mobile app deployment and a strong understanding of iOS and Android release processes, including App Store Connect, Google Play Console, platform review guidelines, release trains, and OTA updates.
