• • You will immerse yourself in fast-paced Agile environments, actively participating in the development and implementation of robust test scenarios and comprehensive test strategies that underpin our engineering releases. Your role will involve providing essential manual testing and expert QA guidance across multiple product verticals and diverse projects, ensuring a consistent high standard of quality.
• • A key aspect of your responsibility will be to lead testing efforts for your designated areas. This leadership extends to partnering closely with Product Managers, Developers, Data Specialists, and other key business stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of data flow throughout our systems and to rigorously ensure its integrity. Your proactive engagement will help identify potential issues before they impact our users.
• • You will be tasked with troubleshooting complex problems, meticulously logging defects in JIRA, and driving these issues through to prompt and effective remediation. A significant part of your role will be to oversee the timely and accurate resolution of all active defects within your assigned domains, ensuring that our products remain stable and reliable.
• • Your expertise will be crucial in investigating automation results, identifying any discrepancies or issues within our automated test suites, and collaborating with engineering teams to rectify broken automated tests. This ensures the continued effectiveness and efficiency of our automated testing infrastructure.
• • You will conduct thorough root cause assessments for identified defects, not only fixing the immediate problem but also implementing strategic solutions to prevent recurrence. This proactive approach is vital for continuous improvement and long-term product quality.
• • Defining and gathering key metrics related to software testing activities will be a core function, providing data-driven insights into our quality processes. You will effectively communicate test activities, progress, and status to all relevant stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment on goals.
• • You will play an active role in all sprint rituals, including daily scrums and weekly sprint refinement sessions, for each of your Mission Aligned Teams. This deep integration ensures that quality is considered from the outset of every development cycle.
• • You will own the functional and regression testing for your assigned areas, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for the product workflows and behaviors within your scope. This expertise will be invaluable in assisting teammates across various functional disciplines.
• • A significant contribution will be your involvement in driving process improvements. You will identify weaknesses in current processes and collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective enhancements, continuously refining our approach to quality assurance.
• • You will contribute directly to our automated test cases, ensuring they are well-written, maintainable, and accurately aligned with our documented test cases. This hands-on work with automation is critical for scaling our testing efforts.
• • You will partner closely with Product Managers, Developers, Data Specialists, and key business partners to understand intricate data flows across our systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy at every stage. This requires a strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail.
