đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior QA Engineer at airSlate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of altaFlow, a complex no-code document automation platform used by large-scale businesses worldwide. Your work will directly impact product integrity and customer trust by identifying defects early, validating functionality across integrations, and supporting seamless releases in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
- • You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for altaFlow, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and release validation, while advocating for quality standards and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement across the product development lifecycle.
- • Day to day, you will analyze requirements and user stories to design comprehensive test strategies that cover functional, regression, integration, and edge-case scenarios across web and API layers.
- • You will develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using modern frameworks (such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) to increase test coverage and efficiency, particularly for critical user journeys and third-party integrations.
- • You will perform manual exploratory testing to uncover usability issues, visual inconsistencies, and edge-case bugs that automated tests may miss, especially in complex workflow configurations.
- • You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to clarify requirements, provide early feedback, and ensure testability is built into features from the start.
- • You will log, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools, providing detailed reproduction steps, logs, and environmental context to accelerate resolution and prevent recurrence.
- • You will contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements by integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows, enabling faster, safer releases with confidence.
- • You will mentor junior QA engineers by sharing best practices in test design, automation, and debugging, helping elevate the overall quality maturity of the team.
- • You will participate in test automation framework reviews and improvements, advocating for maintainable, scalable, and reliable test code that aligns with engineering standards.
- • You will work with cross-functional teams to validate end-to-end workflows involving external systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, cloud storage) to ensure altaFlow integrations remain stable under real-world conditions.
- • You will help define and improve quality metrics (such as defect leakage, test coverage, and MTTR) to measure and drive progress toward higher release stability and customer satisfaction.
- • You will stay current with emerging QA trends, tools, and methodologies in SaaS testing, bringing innovative ideas to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- • The altaFlow team is part of airSlate’s broader mission to empower organizations with no-code automation tools that transform how work gets done. You’ll join a collaborative, globally distributed team of engineers, designers, and product experts who value ownership, technical excellence, and customer impact.
- • airSlate fosters a culture of innovation and growth, where employees are encouraged to take initiative, experiment with new ideas, and grow their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment that values transparency and continuous learning.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in testing complex, integration-heavy SaaS platforms, gaining hands-on experience with modern test automation, API testing, and quality engineering practices at scale.
- • You will have the opportunity to influence product quality strategy and contribute to the long-term reliability of a product used by hundreds of thousands of businesses, directly impacting customer success and brand reputation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- • 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on web application testing
- • Proven experience designing and executing both manual and automated test cases for complex SaaS applications
- • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools
- • Solid understanding of API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI
- • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- • Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
- • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to think critically about edge cases and system behavior
- • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken)
🏖️ Benefits
