  • • DomainTools is at the forefront of cybersecurity, empowering organizations worldwide to understand and mitigate digital threats. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic Software QA team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge web-based user interfaces and robust REST APIs, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our innovative products.
  • • As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in researching, developing, delivering, and managing state-of-the-art techniques in software quality assurance and testing. You will be a key player in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to deployment and ongoing maintenance. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying potential issues, designing comprehensive test strategies, and executing rigorous testing to guarantee the reliability, performance, and security of our platforms.
  • • Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional testing. You will be expected to proactively identify areas for improvement in our testing processes and methodologies, advocating for best practices and driving innovation within the QA team. This includes exploring and implementing new testing tools, frameworks, and automation strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • • You will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of product requirements and technical specifications. This collaborative approach ensures that testing efforts are aligned with business objectives and that potential risks are identified and addressed early in the development cycle.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve designing and implementing automated test suites for both our web applications and APIs. This includes developing robust, maintainable, and scalable automation scripts using industry-standard tools and programming languages. You will be responsible for integrating these automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
  • • You will also be responsible for performing various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing. This comprehensive approach ensures that our products meet and exceed user expectations and industry standards.
  • • Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and providing clear, concise, and actionable bug reports will be a core part of your daily activities. You will work closely with the development team to troubleshoot issues, verify fixes, and ensure that all identified defects are resolved to satisfaction.
  • • Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. This ensures that our testing processes are well-documented, repeatable, and easily understood by all team members.
  • • You will act as a mentor and technical lead for junior QA engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow and develop their skills. This includes providing guidance on testing techniques, automation strategies, and problem-solving.
  • • DomainTools operates in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will thrive in this setting, adapting quickly to changing priorities and embracing new challenges. Your ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and contribute positively to team dynamics will be highly valued.
  • • We are looking for someone who is passionate about quality and driven by a desire to build exceptional products. If you are a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply and become a vital part of the DomainTools success story.
  • • This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects, contributing directly to the security and success of our clients. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team that values innovation, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • • Your contributions will directly influence the quality and user experience of our sophisticated cybersecurity solutions, helping us to maintain our leadership position in the market and protect our customers from evolving online threats. We believe in empowering our employees and providing them with the resources and autonomy to excel in their roles.
